Resigned to her fatigue, the dwindled Sophie switched off the light in the living room, darkness consuming the room once more. This familiar area had played audience to her experiment, and her house did seem decidedly roomier now. If things hadn't escalated the way they had, then she could see herself at these kinds of sizes just to make her home feel more cozy.

The woman's bare feet padded into the hallway, another echoing yawn escaping her lips. For a moment the scientist was tempted to intrude on her two smaller guests - would they notice her shift in scale? Sophie couldn't be sure, at their size the entire world would appear enormous. The redhead figured if she visited them in a different outfit, they would be far less inclined to realize.

Still, she had poked and prodded those two enough for the day, and what was more - Sophie was tired.

With great relief, the woman shut her bedroom door behind her - sealing off the world in the only way she could. With a sigh, she collapsed into the nearby chair. She misjudged her new scale and sunk further than expected.

Her eyes became heavy as she regarded herself; roomy indeed.

Sophie's eyes wandered, scanning the room until they came to rest on her prized device. She remembered she had earned more than a few joking remarks about the shape she had chosen for it; which was fair. The scientist had known she wouldn't be beating any of the allegations around it being a 'shrink ray', a term she never fully embraced. Sophie giggled inwardly at herself, 'I mean, if it looks like a duck...'

The scientist figured she should restore her size before bed but...

She didn't want to. Not yet.

What was another eight hours of unconsciousness at her reduced size? Sophie could do that tomorrow. The idea of her large bed swallowing her up in this shrunken state was definitely appealing.

Sophie could have fallen asleep in that chair, but with heavy eyes she forced herself onto her feet, and simply by narrowing her shoulders, her dwindled form slipped free of her nightshirt. She stepped free as it collapsed in a delicate heap on the floor. There was a vulnerability she felt in that moment, but it wasn't undesirable.

The scientist eased herself onto the bed, and with a quiet yelp she felt her legs kick off the floor, dangling in the air, unable to graze even the rug. Sophie threw herself back onto her welcoming mattress and pulled the seemingly huge blanket across her.

It had been a long day, a long week, a long month. The chaos of her mind finally yielded to her weariness; her eyes landed on the device just as she drifted into the gentle dark of sleep.

The last thought on her mind was of two tiny women across the hall...

I went back to "Not A Toy 088" and she is so much smaller in these in the exact same spot in her room and looks so cute at her new size. She is so much smaller and cuter! Can we get some comparisons between Sophie at her old size and new size?

I LOVE that! Going back and comparing is so so fun, she looked so different in her nightshirt before!!

Nathalie has been waiting in the wings. She has the perfect alibi as she mentioned in NAT 080 that a meeting it was brought up that research had disappeared, a meeting Sophie missed. So, if Sophie disappeared (like Maisie and Jenna), time would be spent on looking for her and not Nathalie. Nathalie has a lot to gain by miniaturizing Sophie, making it impossible to find her. She could even restore Maisie and Jenna, explaining that no one would ever believe that they were miniaturized and kidnapped. Wonder if Nathalie has any other scores to settle with Sophie.
