Millie’s wide face was raining smug into her prison, blonde hair draping beside her face in loose waves. Jenna’s arms went numb, her fingers threatening to tear through the backs of her hands. “I must apologize for your accommodations…” She cooed, folding her arms along the heavy wooden beam in front of her. “…but…given the circumstances, options were…” Her massive mouth coiled to a cruel lipless smirk. “…small.”

Jenna winced, bobbing on her toes as she tried and failed to retort. Words died in her throat as she watched as Millie’s fingers curled and scraped against the wood. Each digit seemed impossibly large, nearly as thick and wide as her leg.

“I must say, you are cute down there.” She purred, reaching towards Jenna causing her to flinch. “Aww, someone’s jumpy!” Millie teased. “I would be too, if I had suddenly tumbled down to your size.” Jenna watched as the device slipped out of Millie’s hand, falling below the floor of her prison from outside the bars. The object landed with a heavy thud, muffled only slightly by the plush carpet in the room. “To think, my best friend wanted to steal from me, and all because I won your job.”

“You didn’t win anything Millie!” Jenna snapped.” Just cause the Doctor prefers blondes doesn’t make you any more deserving than me!”

Millie clucked her tongue. “Being blonde? No.” The towering woman held out her hand, ruffling the shrunken brunette’s hair. “Proper grammar? Yes. Besides, I think it’s clear MY project bore fruit, your serums didn’t do anything. I told you the solution would be found in engineering, not the pharmacy.” She let out a low sigh, tilting her head as she smiled down at Jenna. “Quantum Physics wins again.”

Jenna fumed, energy boiling in her reduced frame until she finally stomped her tiny foot, spinning in place with a huff. “You won’t get away with this Mills, when Jodie learns of—” She paused, looking up at a new figure. From the bars of her prison, she watched another woman, Dr. Whitaker, enter the room. “Dr. Whitaker! Help! Millie used her thingy to…” Jenna swept an arm about her shrunken body. “…to do THIS… to me!”

“Millie, is this true?” Jodie said softly, folding one arm in front of her hips. The evening light caught in the soft fabric of her lavender dress. “If so, this is truly impressive!” Jenna’s heart sank as Dr. Whitaker paused at the threshold of the room. “Why the crib?”

Jenna felt the energy bubbling up inside her once more, her hands fell to her side. “Oh… well she was running for the door after I caught her in my bedroom. My little Niece was visiting over the weekend and after the ray did its work… well this seemed like a good place to keep the little mischief maker.”

Jenna felt her face pale as she watched Dr. Whitaker, the petite woman seemed entirely unfazed by Jenna’s predicament. “Clever, Clever!” She sang. “And is it reversible?”

“Oh yes.” Millie answered. “But to be honest, I’m not quite ready yet.”

“It certainly wouldn’t do to waste this opportunity.” Dr. Whitaker said quietly. “Jenna, sweetie, tell me…how do you feel? Who’s Prime Minister? What day of the week is it?”

Jenna fell to her knees watching as her employer and mentor began probing her, questioning her like any of the test subjects. The words fell away into a dull murmur as she realized that…for the moment, she was at their mercy. Furtively she glanced up at her former friends, they seemed to have almost forgotten her. The only bright spot she could focus on was that the process could be undone. Something told her that she would have to wait for the pair to have their fun…
