"Gosh. Marisha is always going on about how scary her parents are - but you two aren't frightening at all. Kinda disappointing."

Aubrey's friend, Marisha, had desperately wanted to spend time with a certain boy this weekend, and despite the encouragement from Aubrey et al, she had said her parents would never let her go.

Frustrated with her impotence, Aubrey had told her friend to let her handle her parents.

Of course, Marisha wasn't to know this was how Aubrey would resolve the situation.

The raven-haired girl groaned. "I can barely hear you two - I'll let you out for some air soon enough. 'kay?"

The girl sighed. She had just been excited to use her device, and hadn't exactly thought ahead. What happened after Marisha got back was a bit of a question mark...

Oh well, Aubrey would think of something.

She set the tube down, lifted her phone and began idling through various apps. Aubrey hoped Marisha was having more fun than she was.
