This is our Session 0/learning session for Starfinder First Edition!

The goal of this session 0 is to find out: 1. Do we like the game? 2. Do our characters work? 3. Is this actually going to be entertaining?

This recording is RAW so please don't expect a super polished experience. But we wanted to provide a video version and audio version for everyone's convenience.

Okay so far I'm twenty minutes in and loving it. But if you do continue please do some exposition or something about the player character races, and the npc ones as well. I maybe heard of a skittermander briefly and think that the passing tabletop player will have heard of them at all. They are adorable. Just describing more of the character you are interacting with of its only a little blurb. Just mention it's a small fuzzy creature with a set of two pairs of arms, with a general examples of being known for being annoyingly cute and helpful. That sort of thing. In essence paint a picture with words, podcast listeners are people too.

This was so delightful it made me want to give Starfinder another shot instead of waiting two years for the next edition. Jank aside, it's such a wild mix of ridiculous concepts, and you guys do so well with off-the-wall material.
