Truly an inspiration. Nothing more can be said about Tugbert—OK but for real, spoilers for Episode 18 if you haven’t watched.

So, let’s talk about Tugbert. He started off as a gag bit that we had in the pre-show (thanks Earndil for posting the inciting incident image) that leaked into the intro and then into the show proper with memes and a ton of fan art. Given that myself and my partner (the amazing @ToTellStories) had just recovered from a virus, returning to Tugbert was exactly the type of levity that let us both get back into the swing of things.

As thanks to EVERYONE, both viewers and subscribers, who supported us in the episode and hit the Sub Goal to get some bespoke content made… WE BEQUEATH UPON YOU THE GLORY THAT IS TUGBERT!

This is statted out as an advanced familiar, ALA the Pathfinder Advanced Player’s Guide rules for such things. This means that only classes who have access to familiars can have the joy that is a Tugbert of their own, but the narrative reasons are important—after all, Tugberts are impressive fey who bestow their business acumen only on the most uninformed of spellcasters!

We have a slew of other “Friends” coming down the line. In fact, Rotgrind Friends is the name of an entire series of PDFs we’ll be starting that goes over familiars and animal companions from all corners of Tyne. We’ll also use it as a chance to offer up other NPC assistants/allies who might just find an appropriate place in campaigns you run… hmmm… very good… hmmmm… hmmmm… hmmm?

Along with this sweet little Tugbert, we have a TON of content in the pipeline in the aftermath of the Abomination Vaults and Rotgoons shows launching (not to mention getting over basement floods and sickness). A quick overview of several future PDFs we have on the go and what to expect:

· A document detailing the Guilds of Outset (in Layout / Last Edits)

· A document detailing fauna and flora of the Solitude (WIP by HulkyKrow!)

· A document providing a full overview on Perfectites and their role in the setting (written by OnCallGM, going into layout and getting some new art)
