February news from under the palm trees (Patreon)

Hello friends!

A little delay with new posts is related to a fuss with the local bureaucracy, but this is a planned and necessary stage. Let's see what happens next, but at the moment, we carefully note that progress in this direction pleases us. ^__^

But enough about the bureaucracy. Let's go down to business. The two main parts we planned for the new release are, firstly, the interactive scene with Belle and Tentacle Tree for $10+ patrons. This event will be recurring, with new features, options and development of events. It's supposed to be based on the Tentacle tree's night milking scene, but, of course, the new interactive will be available not only at night.

Secondly, it is a mini-game in which the Tentacle tree catches Belle (and not only her ^__^). In terms of complexity and new features, this mini-game has no analogues in our project yet! In any case, until the big combat reform, which we've planned for a very distant future :D

While the interactive scene goes according to plan, and it's supposed to be ready by the end of February, then everything turned out to be not so easy with the mini-game. The basic functionality is already prepared, but we are not very pleased with the balance and the set of available options. We want this new mechanics to be easy and entertaining, but for now the gameplay looks a bit heavy. In addition, just the other day we had quite an interesting idea about combining the mini-game with both: the interactive scene and the whole questline of the Tentacle tree... In general, it's supposed to be interesting, but not right now.

In total, this February we're gonna release LS 0.97.5.6 with a long-planned new interactive scene for $10+ patrons (we are really grateful to you guys for your significant support within these times!)

Also, the bonus content from the previous versions will be moved down one step, that is 'Beast with Belle' entertainments and 'Tentacle tree with Betsy and Belle' ones will be available for $5 and $1 patrons.

So the mini-game and additional content, respectively, will be released in April. In March, we'll have several trips related to settling in a new place, so it is better to take a little extra time in advance for refining non-standard mechanics and content. But we plan to continue publishing LS content in March either: there is planned to post a couple of patches with edits and various fixes.
