'The Library Story' 0.97.3 Public Release (Patreon)

Hello friends!

This extra time was usefully spent, therefore, we're happy to introduce 'The Library Story' v.0.97.3! This version includes a new storyline about Gaston in the stocks, plus a number of changes and fixes. Since this is so-called "minor" version, we decided to combine it with the public release of LS 0.97.2 (which was a bit delayed, yes). The next "big" version LS 0.97.5 will be published according to the usual schedule - first for patrons and only later for everyone.

In order to start new events, try to stumble upon the guards in the town at night (from the third day after starting the game or loading a save) and not get along with them (moreover, to lose the first or, if your Gaston is good at the battle, then even the second battle with them). This is a recurring event, so don't be afraid to do something wrong... Moreover, you MUST do something wrong to see new scenes. ^__^  Gaston can be thrown in the stocks directly or if he doesn't pay a fine within a certain time. In the future, we plan to develop this system and add a number of events related to this mechanic. But this version already has something to see!

Important note: in order to see the maximum of events, Gaston must already be engaged in "teaching" Betsy, be familiar with Scylla, pass storyline about Emma in the stocks (with Betsy's participation in it). Actually, it's possible to be thrown in the stocks as many times as you like, Captain Charles is always happy to put Gaston in there, hence, new scenes can be easily opened as you progress through the game.

List of changes and fixes in LS 0.97.3

Game mechanics:

New mechanics of punishing Gaston in the stocks on the Main Square, as well as a corresponding system of fines with control of payment and activation of new events.

Changes:

The Hunters Guild and the Hunting Shop are now closed at night.

Now the evening sound theme of locations coincides with the night one.

Fixes:

Some graphical bugs of storylines in the reading room and with the Tentacle tree are fixed.

A number of various minor corrections and fixes.

UPD:
List of fixes in LS 0.97.31 :

- Important! The bug related to f_music_place() and, accordingly, loading locations under certain conditions is fixed.

- Important! It was not the best decision to close access to the Hunters Guild at night :D. Now access to the telescope at night is open again. By the way, in the next version (LS 0.97.5) the Hunters Guild will be added as a separate location, hence, now this is a temporary solution.

- The "Fear of the Charmed Ones" potion was not consumed while using in battle, and after the first use, the skill continued to be displayed in battles where the Beast's helpers were already absent. Corrected.

UPD2:
List of fixes in LS 0.97.33:

- Bug KeyError: u'\u0434\u0435\u0442\u043a\u0430' while talking to Betsy about how to make up with a girl. Corrected.

- Fixed a bug in the events with the stocks, Emma and Betsy, which led to the game looping.

- A number of small fixed (mostly related to 'Emma in the stocks' quest).
