Work on 'The Library Story' 0.97.2 is in full swing. In the next message we'll be able to name the exact (adjusted for Honolulu time, of course ^__^) release date.

In the meantime, we'd like to tell you a little about some of the innovations that you will see in the upcoming version.

First of all, it is night activity! Yes, Gaston will no longer follow a strict schedule, and go to bed by midnight. After all, all the fun happens at night! So now he will have much more time to crawl into Belle's bedroom after sunset (and maybe not only to her? ^__^). But while all the respectable townspeople are asleep, robbers, thieves and other rabble take to the streets. Furthermore, the guards patrol streets at night... And it is not yet known which of them is more dangerous :D . We will already add a number of new night events in LS  0.97.2. Besides, in the future we will actively develop this line, so this is just the beginning.

The second interesting point is that now Gaston can be punished for breaking the law (as we all know, he is not the most respectable city dweller ;)). Initially, these will be fines of different size... But if Gaston doesn't calm down, then he may even end up in the stocks in the main Square. This will be a separate mechanic with its own additional events. Gaston is hardly to like all this, but we hope you will be interested! :)

Finally, the third thing we want to mention today is the slightly forgotten line of the Gaston's dog. In this version, we're gonna finally continue its development. After special training, the dog will be able to work according to his specialty... that is, sniff out something interesting and follow the trail. After all, this is a much more enjoyable activity than short-term live shield in battles :D.

Of course, all these innovations will be added alongside big events and quests related to the main characters, and not instead of them. It will definitely not be boring. ^__^
