Here's an animated snippet of the throat, mostly to test how materials and such look in motion! This time the camera is a little further up and closer to the back of Zoe's mouth, with her stomach being a little further below!

Unlike the old throat model used in all previous animations, this one uses a complex SSS shader that simulates light translucency. Specularity and reflections have also been revamped to give a slick and fleshy appearance. The goal was to have an aesthetic look, rather than a realistic one, as internals often tend to look uncanny to me when approached with ultra realism.

Best of all, this shader and overall scene is incredibly efficient, with a single frame taking just a mere second to render at 4K resolution. Now if only the other scenes would render this quick! C':

Again, this is looking amazing... well done! Also I guess I'll go ahead and ask this: May I share a tip I came up with, on how I personally animate bulges and belly contractions? I'm asking first since well... I don't want you to think a commoner like me is giving advice to someone so much more experienced like you are, while at the same time I love sharing ideas if I suspect something I found might help and provide inspiration to others. Don't remember if I already mentioned this one in the past, nor if my idea is only possible in Blender and not Maya altogether... so hopefully I'm not being a waste of time here.

i luv it O.O

It's hilarious I get more excited over this upcoming animation than most other things in my life. So very sad.... But worth it! =O

Can do so! But note that Maya and Blender likely handle deformation differently, so applying it could be problematic!

No worries, I'm glad yer looking forward to it! Also looking forward to finish it myself here and show it to you guys! ^_^

My favorite stuff of yours is the 1st person view stuff showing the prey's view looking out the mouth, and up the throat as the pred swallows several time to get you down... so seeing this makes me super happy :)

Thanks so much Avara! Really sorry for making you guys wait with this, I want to ensure this comes out as fancy as possible! (:

CakeInferno

Thanks so much! There's a fairly lengthy throat scene in this one, so here's hoping you'll fancy it as well! Big fan btw! <3

I'm planning to put something new out tomorrow! The throat scene was a pain to animate, but came out at a rather lengthy 10 seconds! A preview of the new stomach environment will follow up soon~
