I'm not a native english speaker, so it took me days after watching the movie to realize that the title sounds like "I love dogs" and that blew my mind into a million pieces lol Maybe. I know is not exactly a hidden pun, but somepeole also didn't notice

This is also one of my favorites of his, it is really hard to rank them all but top of my list is Moonrise Kingdom, iv only watched French Dispatch once when it came out so I'm looking forward to watching it again with your reaction Birdman is the film you were thinking of, I thought the exact same thing during that scene For more stop animation films I'd recommend ANOMALISA 2015 which is a Charlie Kaufman film and MAD GOD 2021 by Phil Tippett who worked on a lot of films like Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park to name a few

It feels like with each Wes Anderson movie, the production design keeps getting more intense and elaborate. It's almost getting to where there's as much work in some shots as there was in the entire production of Bottle Rocket.

For stop-motion, if you haven't seen them, I highly recommend the three Wallace & Grommet shorts (A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, and A Close Shave). The first two both won Oscars for best animated short. You could do them together as a single reaction.
