If we're doing Hitchcock recommendations may I suggest Notorious (1946)? In my opinion his most underrated film

I recently went on a bit of a Hitchcock binge, and I'd recommend Strangers On A Train. For 1951 standards, it's a great psychological thriller/noir film.

Great reaction. I'm always up for a Hitchcock film. Some random things I noted while watching... The humor in his films is definitely intentional. The tiny lady's razor he has to use, the train entering the tunnel as the movie ends on their honeymoon... I've seen this many times and it always impresses me how many matte paintings were used, but you don't notice most of them unless you look for them. Something I never noticed before is how many Edsels Thornton nearly hits on his way down the winding road in the drunk driving scene. Eva Marie Saint (Eve) is still alive at 98. I never noticed before you mentioned it that "Larry" disappeared. Maybe he piloted the crop-duster?

Awesome film. Although I do think it could be like 10-15 minutes shorter because it does drag a bit towards the end.

This is my favorite Hitchcock. All his films are fantastic but this is the one I come back to the most.
