Definitely one of my favorite shows of all time! Came to that conclusion when season 3 started. And you’re right, season 3 had a lot of Emmy acting noms! The actors who play Tom, Kendall, Shiv, Gerri, Roman, Greg, AND Logan were ALL nominated for this season! Incredible showing.

I've been looking forward to this all week. Great set of reactions. Was honestly mind-blowing watching this in realtime when it aired. I almost cried twice this episode, first with Kendell in the dirt next to the garbage FINALLY getting some support, second with the ending scene. Super excited for you to get into S4, the first 2 aired episodes have been fantastic

personally i think this is the most well written episode of tv i’ve ever seen but the craziest part is that i fully believe that they can top it in season 4. the recontextualization of the tom and greg scene is so genius and one detail i love is that he calls greg “sporus”, referring back to an earlier episode this season when he tells him the story of nero and sporus. right before nero joins sporus he pushes his wife down the stairs.
