I definitely agree having Ellie and David fight infected together would've built trust in their dynamic. However, I feel showing David in the beginning there still is an allure of mystery to him and his camp, it doesn't show us too much just enough to get a sense that we can't be too sure about this guy, that's just me. Love hearing your thoughts as always and thought this was one of the best episodes next to episode 5 for me.

There were some things I wish weren't left out, but I'm happy with how they handled this portion of the game. Davids actor did great. I also enjoyed him in El Camino. He played one of the fake cops that come to steal Todd's money.
