Additionally, I think the SAW movies would be a fun run-through movie series. They get quite trashy but the effects stay top-tier and the storyline stays entertaining, but not good, in a soap opera kind of way. And Tobin Bell puts in a good and earnest performance as the main villain

Coming back late with a last observation. At my screening for Scream 5 someone came dressed as Ghostface. Because the mask was off-the-shelf prior to the movies and the clothes are quite simple, it was surprisingly creepy. Especially as they made an effort to scurry around like we see Ghostface do. And that mask scurrying over, sitting next to you, and raising a rubber knife as if to stab you is genuinely upsetting. In the way a good horror movie also is supposed to be.
