Great reaction. I really enjoyed this movie, as opposed to Three Billboards and Seven Psychopaths which I thought were well made but just fine (I loved In Bruges). I think there's something stands out when McDonagh takes a more simple, "lower stakes" script and just executes on it really well. It's somehow low-brow and high-minded at the same time and just works really well. Great performances too.

I took it as more of a simple story than one with underlying meaning. Just a story about 2 friends way back then and what comes of something as weird as just wanting to up and stop being friends with someone
