The wooden area with the Scars is such a great action sequence. It's so pleasing to stealth around in that beautiful dense environment.

The way Ellie tortures Nora to get information about Abby’s whereabouts is similar to the way Abby tortured Joel (except Abby only wanted Joel to suffer). I like how the game shows that Ellie is troubled by her actions. Most games wouldn’t bother to explore this.

to me, it's one of the things that makes the story so great. Showing the ramifications and emotional/psychological toll Ellie's quest for revenge takes is something you rarely see, especially at this depth. I also love that they make you push the button to continue the torture several times, making you feel the weight of that choice a little bit. It's one thing for them to show it, it's another to make you choose it, and then it's an even bigger deal to make you choose it repeatedly.

started a play through after watching these vids but decided to play on the grounded difficulty since I've already beaten it.... There is no freaking ammo anywhere lol. supplies are so limited im going into each encounter with like 3 bullets spread over 2 guns and no med kits. I'm seriously considering just giving up lol.

Most encounters are designed in a way that you could pass it without killing anyone. Going prone A LOT is my biggest tip for grounded. I think the only part in the first half of the game that I still have trouble with is Hillcrest. Even then, I always find a way to stealthily kill everyone except the dogs and dog handlers.
