Fun reaction. This is definitley one of those movies with some parts that may be kinda bad but are still fun and funny. The cheesy line readings and awkward homoerotic nature of it are what a lot of people embrace and thats why it's remembered so fondly as a piece of 80s pop culture. Also, Tony Scott is Ridley Scott's brother who directed a lot of great blockbuster action movies over a few decades. True Romance is one you should react to, written by Tarantino.
