Krzysztof Kieslowski is one of the greatest ever filmmakers. Kubrick was right, Dekalog is a masterpiece. His Three Colors Trilogy (Blue, White, and Red) and The Double Life of Veronique are among the greatest films ever made.

Great haul! My recommendation is to definitely check out Lumet and Tati on the channel. Lumet, as I've gushed about before, should be celebrated at the level of Hitchcock and Spielberg. His ability to get truly remarkable performances from some of the best actors to have ever populated the silver screen is nothing short of astonishing. Additional movies to check out are Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico, Network, and The Verdict. But you really can't go wrong with anything from his filmography. His last movie, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, had Ethan Hawke and Philip Seymour Hoffman in the lead roles supported by Albert Finney, Marisa Tomei, and Michael Shannon, and was shot entirely on digital because he, at the age of 82, still wanted to experiment with new formats and techniques. On the other hand, Tati's ability to orchestrate such levels of absurdist social commentary on what he perceived to be the increasingly cold and technological every day life is bar none. On a personal note, he inspired a generation of Danish comedies that are still nationally legendary to this day, many of which gained widespread popularity in the other Nordic countries and in most Eastern Bloc nations. Movies from Tati to check out are all of them. He didn't make many, but all of them are notable.
