This was absolutely creepy. Slow burn is right, I was on edge the entire time. Even during the non creepy parts. I guess the movie was well done in order for me to feel that way. My take: So the family fell apart. The mother who was supposed to help the family through a difficult time couldn’t keep it together after the initial tragedy. The dad tried at first, but gave in at the end. Also I would’ve thought their faith would keep them together, but it seemed to do the opposite. Oh well I guess they had a lot working against them that they didn’t know about. Also, the ending was just bone-chilling and disturbing. Just how everything went down, her final decision and what followed. I didn’t want that for her. Thanks for the reaction. Looking forward to the lighthouse.
