Fantastic reaction as always.

I'm so glad we both have such an intense hatred for Sangwoo. he can go to hell lol as for whether or not he was asleep, I think he actually was initially but it seems like Gi-hun banging on the door to get help for Saebyeok prolly woke him up, unfortunately. I feel you as far as the emotional toll this show takes on you but I've been enjoying your reactions so far. excited to jump into the finale next!

Sam Tahiri

if sang woo didn't do what needed to be done, all your fav characters would've died lol. also sang woo voted to leave so if anyone didn't want to they could've stayed away. the game is literally to kill for money he's playing for the rules and has 1 thing in mind, his mother. In the end he knows gi hun will help his mother and he kills himself because of the sins he's committed. not saying he's justified I'm just saying understanding the character's intentions are important

Sangwoo actually voted to stay. watch episode 2 again. as for his intentions, I completely understand his intentions but I still don't appreciate his tactics. we could look at Gi-Hun and Sangwoo as two sides of the same coin. let's set aside my actual beliefs that capitalism is the real enemy here and say for the sake of argument that both of their individual bad choices put them there. in that case, we have two characters who went into the game with two different mindsets. Gi-Hun went in wanting to win but also wanting to keep his humanity, while Sangwoo went in wanting to win at all costs. my problem with Sangwoo is that he pretended to want to be part of a team but then betrayed his team from the beginning. on the flip side, we have Gi-Hun who had every intention of being a team player even if it meant having to share the prize money. nowhere in the rules nor during the show does it say that you need to kill someone for the money, except during the tug of war game, in which they had to play against another team to prevent themselves from dying. they are literally told in the first episode "those who complete all 6 games will win the prize money", meaning that it could theoretically be more than one person. the problem is that so many people either 1) make the assumption that only one person can win, or 2) people get greedy and try to eliminate each other.
