This and the season 2 finale of Mando are neck and neck for my favorite episode of both series so far. Blown away!

I'm in the same boat, I saw the blue cowboy and was wondering who it was but after watching a couple reactions online he seems to be pretty bad ass and important in the other animated shows ! that got me fired up to watch those shows too ! hoping I finish them before the finale haha

Also, the blue guy who shot Cob Vanth is Cad Bane. He is one of, if not the, baddest bounty hunters in the Galaxy. He was the top bounty hunter during the time of the Clone Wars so up to this point, he's only been in the animated stuff. He and Boba have some history. Incredible to see him in live action!

I’ve been waiting to watch this with you Brandon! Such amazing stuff!! All of the scenes with Luke just blew my mind, he looked so good! Dante nailed it about Cad Bane, he’s trouble for sure! Fun fact about him, in one of Clone Wars unfinished scenes Cad Bane duels Boba and is responsible for the dent in Boba’s helmet. Don’t know if this is gonna be official story or not but it’s pretty awesome either way. Can’t wait for next weeks episode!

It's interesting and awesome to me that I'm not a huge star wars fan, I saw the original trilogy 20+ years ago, didnt see Episode 2 or 3, none of the new trilogy, but I have been LOVING the Mandalorian and Boba Fett shows- About Cad Bane- I had no idea who this guy was until I watched a breakdown vid, but it did not matter in the context of the show to me, SUCH AN AMAZING reveal of a CLEARLY bad ass character, gave me chills, I didn't need to already know him to be just as excited to see him

I think it would be worth it for you to just watch the first animated CLONE WARS movie that introduces Ahsoka sooner rather than later, even if you take a minute to get to the entire animated series. That's actually the only Clone Wars I've seen so I'm watching this in a similar place to you. I have seen two seasons of REBELS though and I've watched a playthrough of Fallen Order. After Ahsoka was introduced in Mandalorian Season 2, I finally watched The Clone Wars movie and I'm glad I did. Not as bad as I had heard and it definitely fleshes out a lot of stuff, and serves as a better bridge to Revenge of the Sith from Attack of the Clones. Eventually I'll dive into the entire series now that it's all available on Disney+.

I think these Disney+ shows are definitely making the prequels and sequels better. They're tying a lot of stuff in from the pre-OT stuff and setting everything up for the sequels. It's really terrific world-building.

I can’t believe we got Cad Bane in live-action. He’s from the Clone Wars. Once he showed his blaster, I thought Cobb was done for. But he got hit in the shoulder.
