I might be a little incorrect, but as far as filming on location I believe they did film in Ireland, but the gang themselves weren't on location for shooting.

Yup. A lot of the exterior shots and shots were the gang don’t appear on camera where done in Ireland. The gang shot in California all the scenes in which they appear.

Shout out to Kaitlin Olson’s comedic acting abilities: going from super hungover and confused to manic desperation and then rag-doll with legs hanging out the back of the trunk was so damn good! I actually felt pretty bad for her in this episode, lol
