Heads Up - Jan 2022 (Patreon)

Hey everyone, I'm going to do a new monthly post at the end of each month called 'Heads Up' which will serve a couple different purposes. 

First, unless it's part of a huge franchise I usually don't know what new or exciting shows are upcoming (for example I'd never heard of Squid Game until the peak of its popularity after it had already released), and so on this post you can let me know of any new shows you know of coming up next month. You can include a brief description of the show if you'd like but please just keep it super generic and non-spoilery (even something as simple as "Midnight Mass, a new Mike Flanagan show" would work). Also, please do new shows or limited series only because if I haven't watched the first few seasons of a show then there's no way I'd get to a subsequent season within that month. I won't be able to react to everything of course, but it can be a good way to see what might really interest me or what you all would like to see.

Second is relating to movies. This has a bit more variety as you can suggest movies for the next month based on any of the following: new release on a streaming service or an older movie getting placed on a streaming service, a significant/relevant date relating to a movie (anniversary of release, date/time of year in a film), or, unlike the tv shows, if a movie that's part of a franchise or series is coming out you can recommend previous movies in the franchise/series. These are just a few examples so feel free to suggest things based on other criteria relating to the upcoming month. I will say though that if it's as loose of a connection as "A new Wes Anderson movie is coming out so check out this other Wes Anderson movie" then it kind of defeats the purpose, so keep it as closely related as you can.

Hoping that this can be a fun monthly segment in 2022, and it additionally gives another way for those in the $1 tier to participate directly since there's no more polls. Obviously there will only be a few items I can select from these posts each month but it can not only help me see what you all are currently interested in/looking forward to but also give me ideas for the future.
