i feel like when someone tells you Bone Tomahawk is pretty brutal they are spoiling the movie. my humble but strong opinion

Just watched the film along with this and I feel like it had me geared up and more prepared for whatever it is I'll end up watching this October, for how intense and brutal it gets... The only other things off the top of my head that I've seen that I could even compare this to in how genuinely brutal it is is... probably Takeshi Miike's Ichi the Killer, Gerald Kargl's Angst/Fear, and Lars von Trier's directors cut of The House That Jack Built which I definitely recall reacting very similarly to... Although on a slight side note to that, there's a japanese horror film called Pulse which is probably the only film that's drained me more than this one... I cannot even begin to describe the atmosphere on that one
