Petty's arc in this episode was also one going back and forth it time. The final scene for him was nagging his mother to take the painkillers after she vehemently refused over and over. Then after her leg is healed he takes her to the house where he finds her using heroin. This makes him feel as though he's the reason for his mom's downfall and also explains his budding obsession in catching drug dealers.

I've started watching this show twice before and never made it past the fourth episode. Well, here we are at episode 8 and I'm enjoying watching it along with you. Great premise, acting, writing and directing. Glad I'm watching it now.

Same thing! Everyone is loving season 3 and I was so sad because I couldn't get past the early episodes of this season after trying few times. Now I'm flying through these with Brandon and loving it!
