it's been so fantastic getting to rewatch these episodes with you, and i really love hearing how much respect you have for the writing of this show. i agree, hands down some of the best written television of all time! i definitely hope you get a chance to rewatch this yourself, and i'd also definitely recommend the audio commentaries if you ever have the time. there's one for every episode! on a related note: andrew stanton directed this episode, aka the guy who wrote/directed finding nemo and many other pixar films (and even on better call saul he couldn't escape working with a fish 😂)

I don’t usually comment but please don’t talk over scenes that have important dialogue. I know you feel you need to keep pitching in with your opinion, but just let characters talk. It’s so frustrating.

Hi Chris, I've addressed this countless times in the past. This is my style of commentary, I watch with subtitles and so even if I'm talking I'm reading/hearing what they're saying at the same time. It's also impossible for me to know what dialogue is 'important' and what is not since I haven't seen this before so I try my best to fit in comments when I feel there's an opportunity.
