Tbf the Gus reveal was pretty much "spoiled" before season 3 was released. Gus was a major part of the marketing and ads leading up to the premiere. People figured out the FRINGS BACK anagram before season 2 had even ended so they didn't bother trying to hide what was coming.

A cool fact about this episode is that the intro of the car driving is actually the exact scene from breaking bad S3 episode 13 were Saul is driving walter to the laser tag building.

Brandon, I think I remember someone posting on social media before Season 3 started, that the beginning episode letters from Season 2 spell what they do, therefore ruining the surprise for me. That’s one of the reasons I watch your channel, to live missed moments through you.

I knew he was in the show before I watched. Wasn’t upset at all. Was still just as powerful knowing they patiently waited till season 3 to slowly introduce him.

I love how all the Mike scenes leading up to the phone on top the gas cap all have the same kinda music. They literally had him investigating Hector and Gus for 5 straight episodes, since S2E8. Just gotta appreciate the dramatic build up for the characters.

it's interesting to watch different people react to the Jimmy in Los Pollos scene because my understanding is that the transfer did happen but Jimmy was so focused on the guy that he didn't pay any attention to Gus. I always assumed that the transfer happened with the broom and dustpan somehow. I could be wrong though.

I believe the same thing. I feel like if he noticed anything suspicious, we would have gotten that sinister close-up earlier than we did. I’ve watched that episode so many times and I feel like there’s a reason we never see the dude’s feet once Gus is standing there with the broom and dustpan.

The reveal of Gus in BB was showing him without caution, thinking he's just another guy. In BCS they move the camera as if it's the audience, looking around until we find him. What a fantastic contrast between both shows.
