Homelanders son is a special case as you mentioned. He's born with Supe DNA in him, instead of being injected as an infant.. so he definitely has some kind of powers. We saw his eyes glow in the season finale, so he atleast takes that from his dad 👍

this season is absolutely insane and amazing, in my opinion. its going to want to make you go back and re-watch some episodes. Also im pretty sure my mom just joined The Church of the Collective, she just showed up with a 6 pack of Frescas.

Re: Hughie and Butcher - I'm pretty sure the reason Hughie is upset is not because he wants to be leader but because he is pissed at Butcher for just abandoning them last season, and then showing up again as if nothing happened. I also think it was super cheap of Butcher to only decide to tell the Boys about the deal w/ Mallory when it suited him. he is always using them to get what he wants and then tossing them to the side or abandoning them when he no longer needs them. not saying I hate Butcher; he's a great character but him disclosing about the deal was not him being vulnerable. it was a clear calculation to manipulate them into helping him when he saw that they weren't gonna just blindly follow him as usual.
