The Bride: "Bill, it's your baby" Brandon: "I wonder if he's her father" Ok Brandon, I'm not here to judge.

Kill Bill is top Tarantino for me.. Death Proof is his next movie. Seems to be most people's least favorite of his work but it still has it's moments. Kurt Russell is great in it. I'm really excited for you to see Inglorious Basterds though.. saw it in the theater and my jaw was on the floor from the first scene. Amazing cinematography and dialogue and music. Plus one of the best movie villains I have ever seen. Probably right up there with Kill Bill for me. Everything else of his is great though.

Absolutely love this pair of films, but haven't seen them in ages, and it was wonderful to watch them again along with ya.

Patrick Flanagan

Bill was played by David Carradine, yet another major actor of the '60s and '70s given a late-career fresh start by Tarantino. Before this he was probably most famous for the TV series KUNG FU. The long bamboo flute he plays in this movie is a nod to his film CIRCLE OF IRON (also titled THE SILENT FLUTE), which was written by Bruce Lee. Carradine unfortunately died a few years after the KILL BILL films were released.

Nikki Sonrisa

I absolutely love Vol 2 more than Vol 1 but not by much. I think Vol 1 is great but I loved the backstory and dialogue so much in Vol 2. I loved getting to know more about Beatrix's story and how she was trained by Pai Mei. in fact those scenes were my favorites in the movie. I'm so glad you loved these; I knew you would. some people didn't enjoy Vol 2 because it didn't have as much fighting as Vol 1 but I knew you'd enjoy and appreciate the dialogue and character building. can't wait to see you continue your Tarantino journey. next stop: Inglorious Basterds!

I can’t wait for you to get to Inglourious Basterds...

Some of Soundtrack is from Ennio Morricone. Tarantino is a huge Spaghetti Western Fan, especially from Sergio Leone who worked with Morricone on the Dollar Trilogy (those Movies made Clint Eastwood famous) and One Upon a Time in the West. I hope we will see your Reaction to those Classics some day.

When I first saw bea snatch elle’s other eye I was so caught off guard that I actually felt bad for Elle

Scott Bennici

yeah it was so weird how he forgot that when it was the last line of volume 1 and he mentioned it in the intro

Kill Bill 1 &2 have to be my favorite Tarantino films. supposedly he is going to make a volume 3 with Vernita Green's daughter coming for revenge when she's old enough.

Donna Castellano

Something I forgot to bring up in Vol. 1, but I’ll comment here since you complimented Chiaki Kuriyama’s performance in the credit roll, is she appeared in Battle Royals a couple years before KB1. Based on a Japanese novel about a group of junior high age students who get put onto an island by the government. It’s televised and they’re forced to kill one another as entertainment (and a way to control the populace). Kuriyama’s character, Takako, is less like KB’s psychotic Gogo Yubari. Gogo is more like Mitsuko from BR. I don’t know if they wanted to get the actress who played Mitsuko or just chose Kuriyama because she had skills needed for the fight scenes. The movie adaptation is all right. I tend to recommend the novel and the manga retelling of the story which fleshed out all of the students over the film. Don’t waste your time on Battle Royale 2 tho. Some people liked it, I thought it was awful tho.
