It's crazy even setting up the Lily of the Valley twist, an episode or two back Walt was spinning that gun on the table outside and it lands on him twice then finally points at the pot which give him the idea to set this all up.

Just finished watching this episode along with your reaction. I think the brilliance of this show is that I've watched the whole series probably 4 or 5 times and episodes like this one still pack a punch. And nothing feels forced or out of place when you look at it all as a whole. God I love this show.

An interesting parallel here with the season 4 premiere is how Walt drops the gun on the floor of the lab the same way Gus drops the box cutter after killing Victor. It seems to me that this has two meanings. The first is that Walt has now usurped Gus's position. The second is that (since dropping a gun on the floor is a more dangerous thing to do than dropping a box cutter and that Walt killed two people and Gus one) Walt is going to be far more reckless than Gus ever was.

Gus’s face half off aka 2 faced one face is the manager at los pollos while the other face is actually the leader of a meth empire. The shot of Jessie and Walt walking out with the music is one of my favorite moments of the entire show it’s just so cool. I’m so excited for you to watch season 5 because we all said omg where can it even go from here?? Yet Season 5 is the greatest season of the show imo.

I love the brilliant foreshadowing when walt is spinning the gun on the table. First 2 spins point at him, the 3rd at the Lily of the Valley... That's what sparked the idea.
