Band of brothers is incredible and beats any war movies imo

I’m so glad you’re going to experience BOB. One of my favorite limited series. Seen it so many times. Read the book it was based on several times. I’d recommend getting the recent Blu-ray release with all the extras. There’s a great doc showing the actors in boot camp.

Akira is the grand daddy of all current Anime. It is far beyond just an important piece of art. It popularized the genre around the world. Without it there is no Ghost in the Shell, no Cowboy Bebop, no Spring and Chaos.

Really excited for Band of Brothers it's one of the best series I have ever watched. I hope you end up doing it's sequel series as well, titled The Pacific. Imo its just as good, especially because most WWII stuff only focuses on the war in Europe. Can't wait to watch your reaction!
