Since you recently reacted to Rocky and Taxi Driver, I think you should watch Network. Peter Finch received the Best Actor Oscar posthumously over DeNiro and Stallone. Faye Dunaway won Best Actress. Such a prescient film - you'll have plenty to say after you watch it.

I agree. I am trying to get him to watch more movies with award winning female actors or women behind the camera. Faye Dunaway is a fantastic actor with 3 Oscar nominations and many important movies in her catalog and sadly many younger people have no idea who she is.

Her role in Chinatown is iconic. I bet there’s a ton of early Meryl Streep Brandon hasn’t seen. Sophie’s Choice or French Lieutenant’s Woman. And a reaction to 9 to 5 or Moonstruck would be great. And Tootsie. I know Dustin Hoffman has the lead role but Dorothy Michaels is the star. And the movie has a lot to say.

'Network' is an interesting option. A recommend anybody to watch 'Wag the Dog' with Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman. Is a nice satire about how the government and politicians use the news to manipulate public opinion.

Hey man! Another fantastic film for a future poll would be Gone Baby Gone, with Casey Affleck and Morgan Freeman. Beautiful music and cinematography, definitely seems right up your alley :)
