Apocalypse Now is a deep dive into the hearts and minds of soldiers during the Vietnam conflict; the making of the movie is just as entertaining, “Heart of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse” (but that may be just for personal viewing)

Don't wait too long to react to Rocky 2 since it immediately follows the story from the first. In fact I consider them to be 2 parts of one huge movie.

I'd agree that Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse is kind of better. That's not a knock against Apocalypse Now either. It's just a statement of how good a behind-the-scenes documentary that Hearts of Darkness is.
