Kudos to the guy who plays Tuco. Playing a character like that must be exhausting. its such a physical role. the dude is always at a 10.

The reason why this episode ends like that is because of the 2007-08 writers strike. They had planned 9 episodes for the first season, but because of the strike only 7 were produced.

Tuco knows the business well, it is only when he snorts the business up his nose, that everything falls apart. Walt and Jessie, just got a harsh taste of what the drug manufacture/dealing world is about. They are not dealing with "normal" people, and they will need to adapt fast to survive.
