Daniel Day Lewis movies (Gangs of New York isn't on here because a reaction to that is already coming soon-ish)

I'm campaigning for The Last of the Mohicans just because Brandon likes composers so much and this truly is one of the best, most underrated scores of the 90s

I voted My Left Foot, one of the most incredible performances ever.

I’m not going to lie, but when I finally saw the film last year I was expecting him to sing like Stewie did in Family Guy because I thought it was reference to that.

It’s so so beautiful. I actually watched the movie when I was about 10 years old (way too young to fully appreciate everything, so I’ve rewatched many times since), but I loved the music so much that I used my allowance to buy the score on CD. Barbies too of course lol

I can almost visualize you acting out scenes from LOTM with Barbie and Ken (with a black haired Barbie head replacing Ken's traditional head of course) and Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman's music in the background, lol

there's a DC of Last of the Mohicans...not sure which version's better. But it's Michael Mann (HEAT), so... actually his DC's tend to clean up some stuff and tighten, IMO. It might actually be shorter.

Oh I absolutely did. I had a huge crush on the character Uncas. Bad Ken was played by Magua LOL. All the while, "Promentory" played in the background. My parents didn't know what to make of me.

Phantom Thread all the way! Paul Thomas Anderson is one of the few directors that is able to match the insanely high level of artistic brilliance that Daniel Day Lewis brings to every single role he does. Phantom Thread is a truly intoxicating masterpiece.
