Fascinating that you've never really seen Daniel Day-Lewis perform before, especially since he's regarded by many to be one of the greatest actors of all time

Great movie! Daniel and Paul Dano were amazing. The baptism scene with Eli and Daniel was my favorite scene in the movie. The way he yelled “I’ve abandoned my boy” felt so raw and realistic. This movie is a 10/10 for me.

small and neat Deatail about No Country for old Men and There Will be blood: NCFOM was shot mostly in Vegas, but Tommy Lee Jones convinced the Coens to film some scenes on location in Texas. While there, in Marfa to be specific, There Will Be Blood was being shot nearby. One day, Paul Thomas Anderson (director of TWBB) and his crew tested the pyrotechnical effects of an oil fire, causing an enormous amount of smoke to intrude on the No Country set. They had to delay filming a day to allow the smoke to dissipate. Both films would eventually become the leading contenders at the Oscars, a year and a half later. Thats a very nice coincidence :D

"In the Name of the Father" is an excellent film based on a true story. Daniel Day Lewis is great in this. He shows much range in the course of the film. I'm confident you would enjoy it. IMDB #188 at the moment.
