41:40 I think him shooting at the raven on the bridge is symbolic. In the Coen Brothers movie "The Ladykillers", ravens on a bridge played a role. In different cultures, ravens can symbolize bad luck, battle, and death.

I love this movie. Great performances by Bardem and Brolin. 2007 was a great year for movies I saw No country and There Will be blood on the same day. They both ended up being some of my favorites of all time

I don’t know if you knew that the Song that the Mariachis are singing is basically describing Lwellyn's predicament. Translated It’s something along the lines of "You wanted to fly without wings, you wanted to touch the sky, you wanted too much wealth, you wanted to play with fire".
