I’ve never been a big D.C guy outside of Batman. I like Marvels Spider-Man and Iron man. But I did enjoy Man of Steel. Henry Cavill was a great casting choice.

My favorite character in this was actually Faora, Zod's second in command. She had such a menacing aura. The way she moved and her steel blue killer eyes. When that General drew his knife for his last stand it seemed to me as if she appreciated his courage and wanted to give him the 'good death' that a warrior deserved. She could have just splashed him like the others. Later on the plane she gave him that look of 'Remember me? We have unfinished business'. I like those little subplots between secondary characters in movies.

I thought she was great too! I appreciate the moments that were given to secondary characters so that there was more emotional weight in several scenes near the end

I'm finally starting to CIRCLE BACK and watch some of your first commentaries again. It is funny watching someone who doesn't really have any clue about the origin of Superman watch a Superman movie. Super hyped for you to go back and watch Superman the Movie and Superman II, not to mention Tim Burton's Micheal Keaton Batman films, 89 and Returns. I think you're really going to appreciate how those films changed cinema and influenced movies to this day.

I know you have a lot on your plate but next year would be cool if you did Patreon Exclusive reactions to BvS Ultimate Edition (so much better than theatrical release), Suicide Squad Extended Cut (mildly better), Birds of Prey, and then rewatches of Wonder Woman and Aquaman in preparation for The Snyder Cut, Wonder Woman 1984 and The Suicide Squad.
