To answer two questions... Exusiai is a sankta, which is a race based on angels, just like Amiya is a cautus (rabbit) and Texas is lupo (wolf). Sankta have wings and a halo, but they don't all look the same. Oripathy is the infection you get from getting too much origininum in your body. It causes your body to grow more originium crystals (like you see on Misha's leg or Amiya's arm), and when you die you turn fully into a crystal and then explode. The physical effects of oripathy are based on where your crystals grow, so for some people it can be much worse if you get it in your lungs or brain or something like that. Since you need originium to use arts, infected people can also use arts without a staff.
