MBS? ok, I am pretty sure I have seen a good deal of twice stuff, let's see. Ah ok, Twice TV. Cameramen are far so they can see who they need to pull a close-up if directors calls to the cameraman's ear-piece. Also cameraman may not know what members is in what groups, Twice not the only group there.

Groups generally wear name tags when rehearsing so that the camera operation crew can distinguish who is who. So when it is a certain members turn to be center or they know who to focus on when their parts come up, it makes it easier to find them.
