dont think about the age stuff too much....its just, when you think about the fact chae and tzu are like 6 weeks apart in birthdays, does it really matter who the youngest is? i think when they ask chae if she is the youngest, she answering yes because she is '99-er (just like tzuyu). the months/weeks difference really doesn't matter in the end because they are both the youngest in the group. the word "maknae" is more of a title for the fans rather than personal. tzuyu is still the "maknae" but it doesn't actually mean anything to them personally.

Usually the maknae line are always called by others, the youngest but yeah although Tzuyu is the youngest all three Dah Chae and Tzu are refereed to as youngest members. And plus Chae and Tzuyu were born in 99

Too Grown I got you, so Tzuyu IS the Maknae of the group. She is the youngest. BUT, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu are the same age, the only difference is that Chaeyoung was born a few months before Tzuyu, also making her a the “Maknae” The Maknae line is Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu (After school meal club is that they call themselves) Because they are the youngest members of TWICE. Dahyun is a year older I believe

But the term "maknae" is used interchangeably between Chae and Tzuyu because they were born in the same year, 1999. Korean shows tend to refer to Chae as the "small maknae" and Tzuyu as the "tall maknae" in referencing their respective heights. Subjectively speaking, Chae might also fit the maknae role better because of her height (seen as being smol) as well as her being Korean whereas Tzuyu is not.

yes, the in ears are very important bc it allows you to hear yourself and keep track of where your voice and songs goes. This is also important because the stage will be very loud as people are screaming and the stage naturally will be extremely loud to the point where you can't hear yourself so the in ears help you hear yourself

Tzuyu and Chaeyoung are both considered as Maknaes. Tzuyu got it the cuz Chaeyoung was born a few weeks before her. Sometimes you'll hear the girls calling Chaeyoung maknae tho

Chaeyoung and Tzuyu are both considered makenaes (in Korean chaeyoung is the youngest but in America Tzuyu is the youngest)

I can relate to Mina, I spend way too much time at the window enjoying lightning storms. They are sitting according to age, Tzuyu is the youngest, two things might have happened, the translation was a mistake or he meant as a general term that is common in Korea not literal like how we read and use it.

JYP was in two dramas “dream high” and “dream high 2”. You should watch it. A lot of JYP trainees and artist was in it as cast. JB was one of the main cast for dream high 2. Check it out. He and Jinyoung was so young in that show.

Every single one of THEM are not lacking in ANYTHING- all 7 of them are top-tier aces ! If they were in any other group each on could have been “the main dancer , the main vocal , etc ) Their vocals , music videos , dancing , V I S U A L S , PERSONALITY- check,check ,check. They literally have it all and their soooooo underrated in Korea even tho their aren’t even a new group. Which btw the oNLY reason they are underrated everywhere else other then their homeland(Korea) is because their sound is so different from what Koreans like and they turn their nose up at it before even giving them a chance :( and also because they aren’t from the big 3 companies ☹️which speaking more on their sound/music I’m gonna let you see for yourself on what I’m talking about tehe ☺️ 2 songs I would like for u too check out from them for ur first impression are 1. this interview solidified my Jihyo bias. it was always Nayeon, but she's #2 now with Jihyo saying she wants Twice to remain together and that other work will distract from the whole. personally I think anything not singing related can be done on the side.
