These young women are so strong and each member has gone through a lot to be where they are at. This video really give an insight to each of their struggles and worries. Yeji with the pressure of being the leader, Lia with being compared to 4 strong powerful dancers, Chaeryeong being in the spotlight from a very young age. Ryujin on people trying to conform them to the stereotypes of the girl group/Idol image. And Yuna still being in high school while being an idol getting criticism all at the same time. It's rough. It really connects you to Itzy. Their music is all about uplifting yourself. We gotta do the same for Itzy.

Yeji part resonated with me, How she explains it, and I know how she feels. Being a introvert I don't know how to express my feeling and when I feel sad or down. I try to hide it with opposite feeling on the outside while hurting in the inside. Bein how old I am now it hard to switch it off. If that make sense. Plus I feel when I try to doing anything about it but I feel like a barrier is forming and stoping me. Not sure if just my defensive are trying to stop me. But I still trying to find way to break the barrier lol. Thank listening to my story if it not to awkward to bring to our nice comunity of friends. Part of me just wanted to get off my chest.

Ryujin's whole point about how people say "Itzy's dances and performances are really cool for a girl group!" and how that isn't really a compliment hits hard. People undersell women in performance, it shouldn't be about whether they're a girl or a guy, just is it good or not? I totally stand with her on that.

Yeah man kpop is more than just music. It's true feelings, true art and great amazing young people working hard. Very inspiring. But we are all human so cool to watch this side as well. And TooGrown. In these dark times you really light up my days :) Happy to be here with you dude :D

I never dove into the "behind the scenes" with K-pop idols until I started following this Patreon. It reminds me that these were just ordinary people, including you, Toogrown. A lot of these idols, including Toogrown, are so inspirational it gives me hope for my future as well. So thank you :)
