I remember thinking when I watched this for the first time that the team with four members was always going to have an unfair edge over the team with three as they'd have more supporters in the audience...

Yeah when Momo got eliminated it felt like a punch in the chest I really feel like she shouldn’t have got eliminated at all.

no nizi season 2 hasn't had any live audiences so far, but they have a more similar style of show this season, you'll see! They do a lot of jyp artist songs just like the girls on sixteen did, although nizi has the addition of being able to do all the new jyp artists so s2 is really fun

I knew that Sixteen's broadcast was very cruel. I didn't know the details in detail, but I knew the rough process. However, Twice was hard to see, and I was reluctant to watch the broadcast alone, but thanks to you, I was able to watch it together. Thank you.

It's weird how you know the end result; but you still get emotionally moved by this show! This is my third time watching SIXTEEN; and I think I cried more this time around at Momo's elimination than I did the first two times that I watched it! And seeing how devastated the other members were made it even more emotional! I'm seven episodes into season 2 of NIZI PROJECT; and I'm so glad that so far it has not been as brutal as this show was!

Bro When I first watched this I did not know that momo got eliminated. Like I knew who all the members of twice were before watching Sixteen but I had no idea only 7 were supposed to debut instead of 9. So this episode right here killed me. I was in tears man.

It got really dusty when Nayeon started crying when the host asked what would happen if they got last. And the onions were in full effect when Momo got eliminated. I also forgot how different Momo's voice was then and I'm still not sure why JYP changed her voice. Definitely check out Nizi Project season 2. It's similar to Sixteen minus the ruthless eliminations and popularity votes.

I was waiting for this day because I didn't want to spoil you, but as a once I wanted to share this with you. In this interview with buzzfeed (https://www.buzzfeed.com/sarahhan/k-pop-group-twice-interview-once-mental-health-feel-special), Momo chose "See You Again - Whiz Khalifa" as a soundtrack to her life, because it was the song that reminded her of this episode. After she debuted she was able to see Charlie Puth perform it live and in this fancam (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZRurNfmETI), you can see her stoic expressions and how Nayeon was high fiving her before the performance, probably to support her. But it also shows how much she's worked to get to where she is now.

The first time I watched Sixteen, I knew who was in Twice; but I didn't have any other spoilers. So, I "knew" Jiwon was about to get eliminated. Then, that happened. It seriously broke me for a few days.

JYP is legit an OG K-Pop idol, and the man never stopped. That's part of the reason his trainees can pick from an ever-growing catalog of the man's own songs, not just ones he produced for his artists after turning media mogul.

Yes, going in to the competition the teams had two songs in mind in case they didn’t win. They rehearsed both songs that same week. Yes, the audience did not get to see the elimination. This episode is exactly why I’m grateful for Momo because she almost wasn’t in the group and it physically hurts to think about Twice without her. G, you totally cheated 😂😂 You have to keep your arms straight. Everyone could do it with their arms bend but it’s straight that increases flexibility. Jeong’s ostrich run always gives me second hand embarrassment and makes me wish she didn’t chose me as a bias lol.

You took it surprisingly well. As for me I couldn't hold back the tears the moment they showed Sana and Mina breaking down too when Momo was announced. And those crying sounds from Momo, they should have edited those out. Hearing those sound very heart breaking. Also, bringing Momo back was extremely justified. You'll see the reason why as you continue to watch the show.

The format of this episode was so goddamn stupid. Like the 1st half was truly traumatic (see notes below) then you juxtapose that with variety. How dumb truly.. Notes: TWICE should never be filmed reminiscing/reacting to old Sixteen eps ever - no one wants to see them try to hide how traumatic those memories were. JYP shouldn’t have allowed 100% weighting vote on the audience, even he hinted JIWON should’ve been eliminated instead. I’m never watching that episode again, bro, only did it for ya!

Yeah they had two prepared. They had to have a sub-track with their main just in case. They got to practice both before the show, the stuff you're seeing was pre-recorded to "tell the story" of whatever team lost. I'm sure there is footage of each team practicing their sub-tracks.

Going from Momo being eliminated straight to a variety show dance off left me kind of sad. They just aren't the same without Momo. I know she would have loved to be in that segment of the show and we probably would have seen the #1 dancing machines freestyle potential early on.

this episode hurts... the way they cried... you can see how every one hate to see momo go and thinks she deserved to stay. when you finished sixteen it's good to watch twice elegant private life like everybody said. but before that i think it's good to watch Twice TV1 & 2 too. they were filmed right after sixteen finished and members mimicking stuffs on sixteen is so fun.

Momo is my bias, so when I watched Sixteen for the first time, I was so gutted by her elimination, I had to step away from the show for a couple of weeks. Glad, JYP added her to the final group, because honestly, I feel all of the members are integral to the group as a whole.

I think this was probably the saddest Sixteen episode. You could just tell that all the girls were heartbroken that Momo had to go home. Even JYP didn't want to eliminate her! But I loved the second half of the episode, and the next episode is going to be fun too because they're doing more variety stuff! Also, excited to see your dance cover!!

I think Momo's elimination hit them so hard because to the other contestants she was probably one of those who seemed like "a sure thing" as the best dancer. It must have shaken their preconceptions. She also just seemed to be well liked and respected by all the girls, not just J-line.
