the group called 6Mix the reason they didnt make it because some members left the company so the debut of the group keep it on delaying until the cancelled the debut and the group project

JYP has their own showcase regularly. When they plan to release new group, they introduce them through that showcase and also release info on their web-site. jihyo's group which include minyoung (of Sixteen) had several issues including what she already said (quit of member, health issue, concept issue, society issue and etc). That is why they did not make it

The group you were talking about before with Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo was 6mix. It was originally those three plus three other girls but then the others (some) left the company (if I remember correctly I think Minyoung, in Sixteen was in the originally line up. That’s why her and Jihyo were talking so causally you each other in Sixteen episode one where Jeongyeon and a Jihyo were going to practice and Minyoung was there.) and Sana actually replaced one of the members but after multiple set backs, JYP just scraped the group and they were back to square one. Once call the NaJeongHyo unit 3mix now, even though technically Sana was a part of it for a while she wasn’t originally there.

Hey there, two-dollar friend XD JYP is actually really good at scoping out talent. Aside from the groups we now know from JYP, all the girls of SIXTEEN are also really awesome and talented. I'm excited for you to watch the rest of that show see where the rest of the girls are right now. It's kinda exciting since you're both watching SIXTEEN and NIZI Project. You get to see how JYP is consistent but how he's grown too.

Crazy isn’t it 😂 I had that same reaction when I first would out. Yeah, she replaced one of the girls before the group got disbanded. I didn’t affect her nearly as much as it did the others. I don’t know why she doesn’t talk about it though. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Basically, before SIXTEEN, 6MIX (originally JH, NY, JY and Minyoung) were laid out to debut already but due to difficulties in members quitting, concept, health, etc., it was scrapped and then they were all added into the SIXTEEN line up. Thus why in the first episode of the show, you see these 4 sticking together and wanting to debut together. Sana mentioned briefly being added to the 6MIX line-up too.

Jihyo, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Minyoung, and two other trainees were supposed to debut as 6Mix. One trainee left JYP so Sana was added, but then another member left the company and the debut got cancelled

love this reaction! 6mix was supposed to debut before TWICE w/ JH, NY, JY and Minyoung, but they didn't make it, I really feel bad for Minyoung, poor girl... You should sign the YouTube premium, then you could access all episodes for react! :)

When I first saw Sixteen three years ago it made me look at American musicians differently. I thought how many of them could go through what Twice did to follow their dream. How many are so humble and devoted to their fans as Twice? How many American kids could be so disciplined and focused at such an early age? That's when I fell in love with Korea and it's people, and thought that the soldiers from my country that died there to keep South Korea free didn't die for nothing.

Just piggy backing from everyone, 6mix. Due to the name, they wanted to stick with 6 members. One member left and Sana was added (there are even clips of them as trainees together). Then the member Lena who was the rapper left, and JYP wanted to replace her with a rapper. Some say Chaeyoung was considered to be the replacement. Because of the set backs and the gap between the last debuted girl group (miss A), JYP was almost desperate to debut a girl group. Sixteen was made to help find girls that he can add to the original 6mix line up. It’s speculated that, JH, NY, JY and Minyoung would debuted automatically and the competition is for the rest of the members to be added. But the concept for the new girl group changed because members showed their real selves and fan votes showed popularity rankings. Hope this helps. I’ve been a JYP fan since 2007 😅

For Sixteen, once a trainee got eliminated, they will still be a JYP trainee however, they will not have the chance to debut on that group that's why Momo said, she went back to training right away. Tzuyu really had a hard time with JYP during Sixteen and she never gave up and tried her hardest everytime. She was also very popular with votes.

to make the long story short as someone has already mentioned, there was a group called "6MIX" and they could not debut because there was a sad incident in South Korea at 2014. A ferry called "Sewel" had sunk, and hundreds of teenagers sacrificed. The entire nation was mourning and crying about their children’s death. The atmosphere of the nation did not allow dancing and singing for the whole year, so JYP entertainment had to cancel the whole project

Awww honestly I have always loved your youtube channel because I love watching you fall in love with twice but yeah it always feels like were just friends watching things together, thats why getting patreon just for you felt natural because it legits feels like were watching the same things and going thru the same emotions while we hang out haha. All the JYP staff and other trainees said Momo was the hardest working and most commited trainee out of everyone. That's how she becomes the dancing machine after all. So it's no surprise she went straight back to the training room after being eliminated. Momo was notorious for pushing herself extremely hard. Momos elimination is one of the saddest things I've ever seen, same with when she makes the group. I won't spoil why she was or how she was brought back though.

This episode does a great job of highlighting how hard-working Twice has always been and still is. I love how each member reflects on their time as a trainee and you can see how much they struggled to get to where they are now. They deserve all the success and happiness in the world!

I know I said this in your episode 1 reaction but yeah...I can't imagine the courage and strength it took for the foreign trainees to come over to Korea. That would be so overwhelming and at such a young age they leave their friends and family, everything they know behind. It is honestly insane and they had to work so hard once they got to Korea. They didn't have friends or family to fall back on, they didn't know the country inside out, they could only fall back on themselves and keep pushing forward. They effectively worked all day between practicing dance, singing, and studying.

You absolutely nailed the part when you said they had to grind to get where they are. Also if some members didn't make Twice they would of most likely been picked up by other companies like Somi/Natty or even have been part of Itzy which is crazy to think about.

Ps. FYI, that clip of JYP sitting down with them 20.25 was from either Twice Tv or Elegant Private Life, just after Sixteen finished and literally just before they debuted. I’ll try & find it ✌🏻

In the beginning I really liked Twice but I followed other girl groups that were hyped here in the states much more, but over the years Twice was there, always releasing music, always making shows, talking on VLIVE for hours, spending time and sharing moments with us with their sincere, humble and hilarious personalities. I was amazed and worried about that work ethic and fell in love with their diverse personalities and their love for each other. They truly are one in a million and make us onces feel special.

Speaking the truth. Also, the elimination was so heartwrenching for me I had to stop watching the show for a few days. With all said and done though, you gotta give it to JYP for bringing her back even though it was controversial. The man is a genius.

Yo at 8:30 the thing about Sana is so true. She is so pure, like her motivations in life are the simple beautiful things like wanted to connect with and laugh with others. That shows how bright her soul is, she really is a wonderful human being. I'd kill to have more people like her in my life.

Hearing the work they put in and sacrifices they made blew my mind. I've always appreciated Twice but this takes it to a new level.
