Demon Lord's Succubus Chapter 88. The Demon Lord's Son has been Reborn

As the years passed, Lord Damon and I tried various ways to stabilize the border, especially closing the huge crack above Lightglen City permanently. Of course unbeknownst to the other Demon Lords and Demoness since they would be looking for opportunities to use it to expand their territory in the human world. Unfortunately, we hadn't succeeded yet. It wasn't an easy thing since Lord Damon's father's soul force had weakened the border from the start. Coupled with Erebus' soul force. And repairing something that had been damaged with two Demon Lords' soul forces was not easy, even for Lord Damon. All Lord Damon and I could do were seal the crack periodically and keep the energy stable to minimize the cracks.

I couldn't deny it was so tiring, moreover, some demon lords were starting to notice the big crack. As time went by, it was getting harder and harder for us to cover this up, the Demon Lords and Demonesses also started to persuade Lord Damon to take over the human world and take it as the demon territory just like what his father wanted to do in the past. But Lord Damon refused it, it was one of his father's requests before he sacrificed himself or rather a warning since his father mentioned that if the three worlds' stability was broken then all of them would be destroyed. That's why his father gave up his intention to rule the human world even though he was very ambitious for it before. If it wasn't for Erebus, he probably wouldn't have broken the angels' barrier. Regarding why his father knew about this, it seemed that it had something to do with the Angel named Gabrielle.

Now, a thousand years had passed since I took my revenge. I stood on top of a modern building in Nighthallow City, Aeros or rather the Republic of Aeros now. My eyes looked at the streets filled with cars, buses and motorbikes. The lights from the buildings, the neon lights from the billboards and the street lamps began to illuminate the streets as the sky above my head dimmed. Tight clothes covered my body. But rather than the medieval clothes, I wore a much more modern tight suit. I didn't know how much longer I had to spend my time like this, hunting other demons in the human world at night instead of spending my time having fun with Lord Damon. It had been a year since the dimensional crack suddenly worsened. All these small cracks that usually opened randomly became more frequent and got bigger over time. Even there were times when the dimensional crack above Lightglen City opened prematurely. So Lord Damon guessed that some Demon Lords and Demonesses who were not happy with his decision had probably found a way to weaken the energy in the border and take advantage of its instability to open a bigger crack.

So to prevent the demons from escaping, Kitty, Andrew, Tania, Sarael and I had no other choice but to patrol every night to take care of them and seal the cracks. Apart from us, several other demons also helped us out. We couldn't handle this problem recklessly, because apart from me... Lord Damon had to give his power to the others so they could seal the cracks. Because only Lord Damon's power could cover the cracks.

A tired breath escaped my mouth as my eyes swept across the bustling street. My eyes turned to a family who was walking happily on the sidewalk. Their son, who was about five years old, walked among his parents. Suddenly my heart ached and unconsciously my hand moved to touch my stomach.
"Damian..." I whispered my unborn son's name in sadness.

Damian Lucio. It was a name that Lord Damon and I had already decided a few years ago when I was pregnant. From my unborn son's power, Lord Damon was able to confirm it was an incubus who also inherited the power of the death demon lord like him. We were overjoyed to wait for the child. Unfortunately, that dream had to come to an end. When I was two months pregnant, several other Demon Lords rebelled when Lord Damon covered the crack above the Lightglen City. Since there were so many of them, I decided to help him since I knew Lord Damon was exhausted. Unfortunately, I didn't think it was a trap since their main target actually was me and my unborn son. I took the big hits from two Demon Lords which almost killed me. Luckily Tania could heal me. Sadly, she couldn't save my unborn son since he had turned to ashes in my womb. I was very frustrated with it, and so were the others. And Lord Damon... He used his power to seal what was left of his son, his dark power's remnants. Lord Damon and I hoped that one day that small power would develop and Damian could come back to life, though we knew ... Even if one day Damian could regenerate his body, he would not have any personality or character. But I didn't want to give up on him. And that power was still in my body now. After that incident, Lord Damon killed all those demon lords mercilessly, which was followed by a year of war since those demon lords' subordinates were furious when they found their masters dead. Not only that, we also did a huge investigation. Since we kept my pregnancy a secret from the start, which meant... There was a spy among us. It wasn't long before we caught him and executed him mercilessly. Still... It couldn't bring my son back to life.

"Lilieth," Andrew's voice coming from the other side of the roof broke my thoughts. I turned to him.
"What's wrong?" I said as I walked to him. Instead of a knight's uniform, Andrew wore a modern neat suit now. As I stopped by his side, I could smell a faint, demonic stench.

"Did you smell it? Looks like it came from that building." His hand pointed at an old short building in white paint from a distance. The building was hidden among other tall buildings.

"Let's go," I said. After those words, we jumped deftly between the buildings in front of us and infiltrated the short building quickly from the window. We didn't want to do anything that attracted humans' attention or made a fuss to prevent this problem from getting worse. I didn't want those humans to interfere in this problem either since I was sure their existence would only make this problem worse.

As we entered the building, the smell of blood pierced our noses and it came from both directions. A scream of pain also greeted our ears. Without a word, Andrew ran towards the voice. While I ran in the other direction.

- BRAK!

My hand opened the door there and saw a terrible sight before my eyes. Human bones were everywhere with dried blood on the floor of that storage-like room with a small crack that was covered in a cupboard. Just by looking at it, I could imagine how the crack suddenly appeared inside their office. Then the demons came out of it and killed all the humans in that office. Also, the demons deliberately covered the crack with a cupboard since they didn't want to share their food with other demons.

Without wasting time, I stretched out my hand and flowed my dark power into the crack, closing the crack within seconds. After that, I quickly came out of the room to where Andrew was. From the previous screams and the smell of fresh blood, I guessed the demons had already had another victim.

"Lilieth, this human is still alive," said Andrew as I entered the small office-like room.

I approached him and examined the dying young man who could only weakly sit on the wall with the pool of blood beneath him. He was around 18 years old. His brown hair looked messy and his face looked average for a human. In less than a second, I knew I wouldn't be able to save him. His wounds were too severe and his bleeding was too great.

"Do I need to call Tania to heal him?" asked Andrew again.

"Tania and Kitty are too far away from here. Once they arrive, this boy is dead," I replied. The boy's life was only a matter of seconds, even if I picked up Tania with my portal, it would still be too late

Then I heard that boy pleading's voice.
"H...e...l...p...me..." he whispered in difficulty.

*Ba-thump*

In that instant, I felt something inside of me. My heart suddenly beat fast and I could feel a strange feeling inside of me. No... I could feel my unborn son's power reacting to him.
'But why?' I thought. I was silent for a while, trying to feel the faint energy flow from that boy. I could feel traces of a strange power within him and it was similar to Lord Damon's power!
'It's impossible!' I thought. But then I could feel another power mixed in it. This time, it was a faint angelic power and only one person who had a mixture of these two powers... Erebus.

'I see...' I quickly realized this boy was Erebus' descendant. Considering Erebus' bitter past, I guessed he sealed his bloodline powers so his descendants could live as normal humans.

*Ba-thump*

My heart was beating faster and faster. It was as if Damian's power within me was calling out to that boy and begging me to save his life.

I smiled. This was my first smile after my unborn son died.
"Today is your lucky day, boy." Then I brought my lips closer and kissed him, giving my unborn son's power in me to him. Since that boy was dying and Damian kept calling him, I decided to make him my son.

I broke my kiss and distanced my face away from him. My hand stroked his cheek gently.
"Whatever happens, don't give up on your life, boy," I said. I never thought I would be able to bring my son back to life this way and in the end, it was Erebus who gave me this opportunity. Still, that boy was a human, he had to learn a lot of things to control his Demonic instincts and power, especially since I didn't want him to end up like Erebus. On the other hand, I also didn't think he could act as a true demon lord like Lord Damon for the same reason. But either way, I had to make sure he could maintain his common sense and his consciousness since he would become the future King of the Demon Kingdom.

Suddenly, Kitty contacted me with Telepathy.
'Lilieth, a big crack appeared outside the Lightglen City.'

'I'm on my way!' I replied.

Without a word, I stood up and turned around. My hand swung into the empty space. A portal formed and I walked towards it. Andrew followed me, but before we entered the portal, he looked at that dying man for a while.
"Is that okay to leave him like that without explaining anything to him?" he asked. It seemed he had already realized I had transferred Damian's power to him.

"You don't need to worry about it. I have added a system. He will understand it real quick," I replied. I was sure once that boy awakened with his new powers and new identity, he would be confused about it, especially how he controlled his new powers. Therefore, I decided to put some seals to limit his power so he could control his power with something that was similar to a computer system. I would release the seals gradually once he got used to controlling his power.

As our feet stepped through the dark passage within my portal, I spoke again.
"Andrew, after we clear this up, find out the boy's identity."

"Are you going to tell His Majesty about this?" Who he meant was Lord Damon.

"Of course." Another smile appeared on my lips. I couldn't cover my happiness for this.
"I must inform him that his son has been reborn."
