Production Update! Preview, music, and more - 2.27.23 (Patreon)

Hello Esteemed Patrons!

We've been busy this month, and have a collection of teasers and news for you so let's get right to it:

- Whiskered: We've got an animated short coming this week or next. It's a short and sweet stand-alone that we may turn into a little series because the characters are quite fun to work with <3 We've included a short video excerpt for your exclusive early viewing.

- Lighthouse: The movie we're working on is getting a 90-second proof of concept, and it's halfway done! We haven't got the line art colored so there isn't much to see yet, but once we start exporting shots, we'll start sharing them. There's a lot to do by the deadline on the 7th but our momentum is holding pretty strong.

- Angel Hare: There's an Easter special coming! We've already gotten voice lines collected, and will try to have it done in early March for your viewing pleasure before its Easter release. We're also still working on a festival cut of the episodes combined, and have commissioned a theme song for this cut by Matt Davies which we've attached and you can listen to now!

- N.A.T.S.: Our mini-series that we put on pause is officially unpaused! The writing now has a firmer direction that we're happier with. We'll be able to continue the writing and pre-vis stages now, and be able to work on it alongside the Kind World pilot. Sneak peek art and assets coming soon!

- Kind World: We had to slow production as we worked on the Lighthouse short for a local screening's deadline, but we're very excited to use our new routine for Kind World production. Our planning and efficiency have increased through a few growing pains this month and while it's still not perfect, it's feeling a little more like a studio and we're excited to share the results of that!

- Streaming: We've been streaming again! It helps keep us focused during evening work sessions. You can watch us draw background art, do rough animation, and clean-up on shots while chatting and hanging out. It's been informal and fun, and we hope you'll join us sometime! 

- Shoutouts: Lastly, we want to thank a couple of creators who have taken the time to graciously mention our content on their platforms. Sagen Hawkes and GamingPlush64 have both made mention of us on their channels, and we've gotten some incredibly sweet new fans as a direct result. We're humbled and flattered and hope we can give back someday!

We hope you've all had a lovely February, and look forward to several small releases soon before the next mini-series kicks off! It's felt like an explosive month and is certainly a long way off from working on one project at a time. It's been fun, stressful, and very exciting! We have a few potential other things in the works, but it's a little too early to commit to sharing on those so for now, we're incredibly flattered for your support and we'll see you next time!
