Hello dearest Patrons! Summer approaches, and news is in bloom. Last month went by in a FLASH so we'll try to be more informative this coming period!

- The West Patch: ...is officially in its pitch period! We've signed a finalized shopping agreement and our lovely producer friends have spoken to us about their plans. Right now, the rough idea is to approach a studio to produce it and present it with that studio to a distributor, alongside showing it to some industry friends of theirs. It's an interesting process! You can see our shiny new pitch package, revised with the guidance of our lovely friends, here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1eCbgnTKxiVZoPq8_CNCGjMO4Gm6nkUoaaaC1NRKN5sA/edit?usp=sharing

We cannot reiterate how far your support has taken us. It's been a wild ride. The next stages will either be in the industry or if that fails, back on youtube. Either way, it's going to keep on keeping on thanks to all of you.

To make it an easier show to pitch, we've switched the youtube episodes to 'unlisted' but you can still watch them here and they'll go back up if the contract expires without any deals being made:

- Guardian Angel: Now called 'Angel Hare,' our new, much shorter and lower budget mini-series is coming together well! The episodes will be MUCH easier to produce than the beautiful, high-effort West Patch. Alongside the attached video with our beautiful new character design by Mac Rosenberg, we hope to be showing a lot of progress very soon... we also plan to pitch a version of the series to Blumhouse TV as we made a contact with them through Stareable Fest. It's a fun idea we think we could expand on, so we'll let you know if anything comes of that!

- Death of the Deke: Is on pause. It's a look and narrative we really like, but once the storyboards were done, we checked in with ourselves as we try to often do about goals. While it would be fun to bring a more self-enclosed, competitive short to festivals, in all honesty, the festival scene can be difficult for animators. Apart from Stareable, which was incredible for networking, festivals mostly connected us to live-action filmmakers and a couple of voice actors. For the cost of travel and the effort and time of creating a short, we decided it was an amazing experience for the West Patch but that we'd evaluate our goals more before diving right back in. That being said, we are in the very early workings of something that could have interesting end goals. It's ambitious, so we won't go into detail until more of the planning phase is gone over to see if it's feasible, but it's something we never would have considered if your support hadn't taken us as far as we are now.

- Misc: We, unfortunately, have not heard back from our rigging artists for Space Triage, so it is in limbo as we continue to try and reach out, but will take off as soon as we have those assets to work with. It's been an interesting month of looking at our projects, measuring our time, evaluating goals, and re-organizing our priorities. We'll let you know every update as it happens, but you've been with us long enough to know that animation can move very slowly!

Thank you for your presence, your patience, and for being with us every step of the way. The garden is doing well despite a drought, and the new cat is a menace and an angel all at once. We hope you're having a beautiful summer, and as always, we'll see you next time!
