Here's a look at Part 1 of Butre's Kaylee remake! We finally figured out how to transfer the character flawlessly over to his PC, and she looks perfect. (For comparison, I also included a render from the original version, before we had everything ironed out.) Third time is the charm! Poor Butre had to re-render most of the comic three times, but I think it was worth the trouble. It's looking amazing, there's no doubt in my mind that it will be the definitive version of the comic!

So far there's only one major change, aside from everything looking a million times better than the original comic. Kaylee now has a curvy body from the beginning, which is closer to how she looked in later chapters. This might be a little divisive, but I think it's a change for the better! It makes the comic feel more cohesive. Fans who prefer how Kaylee looks later on will have an earlier time jumping into the earlier chapters! And I'm willing to bet that a lot of people who got into the series later never went back and read the earlier chapters, in part because they looked outdated. Well, now they'll have a perfect excuse to read them!

Personally preferred that she got a lot curvier as the series went on. Ive kind of been hoping at some point youd do one of your comparison shots but with all the Kaylees at the same size so you could see how her proportions have changed.

That would be cool to see all the Kaylee's growths together, an ultimate height chart showing Kaylee's journey from mere mortal to Goddess.

Thiccer Kaylee from the start is a real treat! I did like the idea of her getting curvier as she grew though, but between chapter 14 and 22 she has filled out some more so it's still a nice addition for the earlier in instalments. On a side not, maybe it's the model, but I remember sending you splash board I made before of various different angles in the later chapters where her propotions looked ALOT bigger. I'm talkin thiccc with three 'C's'. Again I think these renders were from 14 up till 17, but Kaylee's a good bit chunkier in the later issues so making her curvier for the reduxes works wellI think? Does the model just by happenstance do that something's though?
