Content

Listeners,

I'm considering putting together a Q&A Episode. This would be extra content that wouldn't take the place of a regular episode. There are some questions I've been asked since I began that I felt an email response didn't do justice.

If you have any questions please feel free to leave them here. If you'd prefer privacy then you can email them to:

justin@obscuracrimepodcast.com

Keep the fire burning,
Justin

What is the biggest miscarriage of justice you've heard of or read about?

Is there a case that you'd absolutely refuse to cover?

All are wicked good questions ... mine: Justin, your storytelling ability is very different from other podcasters-it seems you can identify with the victim(s) in a way that comes through loud and clear. You’re big heart comes right at me ! Do you think your life experiences helped bring you to this point ? By the way I wanted to congratulate you and your podcast on the success you’ve realized over the past year. You’re doing something right !

What are some of your hobbies? You seem to enjoy making your podcast but what else are you interested in? It’s nice to get to know the man behind the mic. Wonderful stuff!

Who did you write for before Obscura? If this has been answered, I apologize.

How do you decide what gets a black label dedicated episode? Is it strictly based on content, or having the audio samples? Or have you considered cases that don't have the audio, but the details are just so gruesome as to be only suitable for a BL episode (like going into a deep dive on the crimes of the Gainesville Ripper or some equally hideous crime)? I love how dark and detailed the Obscura episodes are but some of the more brutal crimes could also he good contenders just based on the ability to go into such graphic detail as well. Love you guys, keep doing the great work!

The audio clip played in the beginning of your black label episodes “She died screaming” What is that? And will you make an episode about it?

What do you do when you're not making a podcast (either work or hobby-wise)? What podcasts do you like to listen to?

What about your profession outside of the podcast? Has it ever involved criminal justice--and if not, how did you land on this subject matter?
