It's winter time here, and the days are very short. I think a lullaby from one of my favorite games fits the bill pretty well!

I had two versions of this song almost completed, the first being very busy and stacked...but this minimal version just sounded better. I hope you guys enjoy how it turned out, and a merry Christmas/Happy new year to all of you guys!

An original a-cappella arrangement of Piranha Plant Lullaby from Super Mario 64. For such an action-packed fun game like Super Mario 64, this song stands out by being unreasonably relaxing. My first attempt at making this tune into an acapella arrangement ate up many hours of work and had wayyy more vocal tracks than this. I realized that, even though I had fun stacking tons of extra harmonies, this song feels best the way Koji Kondo composed it; minimal and chill. Since the Winter Solstice just hit for us in the northern hemisphere and the days are extremely short, I felt this song very fitting for such a cold and sleepy time of year ❄ I based the final version of this arrangement, especially the ending, off of a nice piano version.
